India's golden triangle is a tourist circuit which connects the national capital Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. The Golden Triangle is so called because of the triangular shape formed by the locations of New Delhi, Agra and Rajasthan on a map. The trips usually start in Delhi moving south to the site of Taj Mahal at Agra, then west, to the desert landscapes of Rajasthan. It is normally possible to do the trip by coach or private journey through most tour operators. ITINERARY:-

Day 1: Arrival in Delhi-

Your tour will start as you arrive at the Delhi airport or railway station. Our tour representative will assist you with a smooth transfer to the hotel. Check-in at the hotel and get over the tiredness of the journey. You can spend the day relaxing in the hotel or exploring nearby places on your own.spend the night at your hotel in Delhi.

Day 2: Sightseeing in Delhi-

The national capital offers a number of attractions that belonged to both the modern and the ancient era. This makes Delhi one of the best tourist destinations offering endless things to do. Explore the historical sites or have fun at the recreation centers, visit the shopping hubs or try some lip-smacking food in an authentic Dhaba. The attractions you will visit today include Raj Ghat, India Gate, President's House, Humayun's Tomb, Lotus Temple, Qutub Minar, and Red Fort. You can also satiate your hunger at one of the restaurants in Cannaught Place or indulge in shopping there. After the city tour, you will return to your hotel for night stay in Delhi.Rajghat is the memorial of the father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi. The black marble platform in the site is the place where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated.India Gate was designed by Edward Lewton which is a war memorial built in the memory of British Indian soldiers martyred in the first world war.President's House or Rashtrapati Bhavan is the official residence of the president of India. Designed by Edward Lewton this is an architectural marvel nestled on the Raisina Hills in New Delhi.Humayun's Tomb is the first garden-tomb in India designed in the Persian architectural style where the Mughal emperor Humayun was laid in rest.Lotus Temple in Delhi is named so because of its unique lotus-like shape. This is a prayer house open for followers of all religions.Qutub Minar is a 73-meter high brick-made tower built by Qutubudding Aibek of the Mamluk Dynasty. This is a world heritage site in Delhi.Red Fort is a red sandstone made fort built by Mughal emperor Shahjahan. This was the Mughal residence for the longest period of time.

Day 3: Transfer from Delhi to Jaipur by road (262km - 05hr)-

Today morning after breakfast you will be transferred to Jaipur by road. Upon arrival check-in at your pre-booked hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure. You can explore the colorful market of Jaipur. Visit Bapu Bazar and Zohori Bazar to shop for traditional jewelry, clothes, and showpieces from Jaipur. In the evening, visit Chokhi Dhani a cultural village near Jaipur. You can enjoy folk music and traditional Rajasthani cuisine here.return to the hotel for a night stay in Jaipur.

Day 4: Sightseeing in Jaipur-

The Golden Triangle tour with Haridwar and Rishikesh is reserved for exploring the attractions of heritage city Jaipur. The pink city was established by Sawai Jai Singh II in 1727. The city was planned according to Vastu rules by famous architect Bidyadhar Bhattacharjee. Jaipur became the pink city when Sawai Jai Singh painted the houses in pink to welcome King Edward VII in 1876. Jaipur is spotted with beautiful palaces, forts, temples, and museums. Today you will explore Amber Fort, City Palace, and Jantar Mantar & Hawa Mahal.Amber Fort is one of the most famous tourist destinations in Jaipur. The beautiful fort is located on the hilltop and creates mind-boggling sight by casting a shadow on a foothill lake. You can reach the fort on horseback that also allows a panoramic view of the city.city Palace is still the residence of the royal family. This beautiful palace complex includes a number of edifices, gardens, lawns, museums, and temples. This was built in the combined architectural style of the Mughal ad Rajput.

Jantar Mantar was built by Sawai Jai Singh in 1734. This is a royal conservatory that houses a collection of 19 astronomical instruments.

Hawa Mahal or the Palace of winds was built in 1799 as a woman's chamber. The palace has 953 windows through which the royal women used to keep their eyes on the streets.

Day 5: Transfer from Jaipur to Agra via Fatehpur Sikri (260 km - 6 hrs.)-

Today morning after breakfast you will check-out from the hotel and leave for Agra. Get the stopover at Fatehpur Sikri, the abandoned Mughal town. This World Heritage site was established in the second half of the 16th century by Emperor Akbar as a sign of victory. The attractions that you can explore here include Salim Chisti's tomb, Palace of Jodha Bai, Birbal Mahal, and Jama Masjid. Another symbol of victory is the Buland Darwaza the tallest gateway built by Emperor Akbar to commemorate his victory over Gujarat. After exploration, continue your journey to Agra. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel and freshen up. The evening is scheduled for exploring Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, and Tomb Of Itmad-Ud-Daulah. If time permits, you can also visit Sikandra where the Tomb of Akbar is located. Night stay at Agra.

Taj Mahal is regarded as the most elegant building and one of the seven wonders in the world. The white marble monument is listed in the world heritage sites and symbolizes the immortal love of Shah Jahan and Mumtaz Mahal.

Agra Fort was built by Emperor Akbar and owned by various Mughal rulers from time to time. Like most other Mughal structures, Agra Fort is also Built-in red sandstone and is referred to as Red fort.

Id-Mat-Ud-Daulah tomb was built by Empress Noor Jahan to commemorate her father Mirza Ghiyas Beg. Its resemblance to the Taj mahal that makes it famous as Baby Taj.

Day 6: Transfer from Agra to Delhi via Mathura & Vrindavan (220 km - 5 hrs)-

Your Golden Triangle with Haridwar Rishikesh tour also includes Brajdarshan. On day 6, you will depart from Agra and reach Delhi with a stopover at Mathura & Vrindavan. Both the places Mathura & Vrindavan are famous Hindu pilgrimages that are connected to the birth and childhood of Sri Krishna. Here you will visit the famous temples Shri Krishna Janmabhumi, Bankey Bihari Temple & ISKCON Temple. After the temple visit, continue your journey to Delhi and upon arrival, check-in at your hotel for night stay.

Shri Krishna Janmabhumi is a temple complex housing a number of temples. The place is believed to be the birthplace of Lord Krishna where you can witness the prison cell where Sri Krishna was born. The temples here are destroyed and built by various kings from time to time and the present temple has been developed by the modern Indian industrialists.

Banke Bihari Temple in Vrindavan is the holiest temple to the Hindus. The temple built by Swami Haridas is famous for the celebration of the Jhulan Yatra Festival in the month of August. This time thousands of pilgrims reach here from all over India.

The ISKCON temple in Vrindavan is one of the most beautiful temples which is also known as the Krishna Balram temple. Located near the Banke Bihari temple, Iskcon Vrindavan offers Bhagavad Geeta classes and impressive sight of aarti every evening.

Day 7: Transfer from Delhi to Haridwar (225 km-5 hrs.)-

In the morning, you will leave for Haridwar from Delhi. Haridwar is regarded as the gateway to God because this is the base stop for the journey to Char Dham Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamunotri. It is located in the lower range of the Himalaya, the Shivalik hill. Haridwar is where the Ganga descends from the hill and starts the journey on the plain. The place is famous not just for spiritual significance but for learning art and culture.

Upon arrival at the sacred city, check-in at the hotel and freshen up. Thereafter, visit the Mansa Devi temple located at the top of the Bilwa Parvat. In the evening, you will witness the divine sight of Ganga aarti that is performed every evening at Har ki Pauri. Thousands of Diyas (clay lamps) are lit and floated on the water illuminating the surroundings while the religious chants are recited in a melodic rhythm. After spending the evening amid this heavenly beauty return to the hotel for night stay at Haridwar.

Day 8: Temple visit in Haridwar and Rishikesh-

The Golden Triangle with Haridwar & Rishikesh tour is reserved for visiting the temples of Haridwar and Rishikesh. Rishikesh is located 25 Km away from Haridwar. This is one of the most serene places known as the center of Yoga and Meditation. The Ashrams (houses) for spiritual learning are lined along the east bank of the river Ganga. Today you will visit Laxman Jhula, Ram Jhula, Geeta Bhawan, & Ashrams. After the day's excursion, you will return to the hotel for a night stay at Haridwar.

Laxman Jhula is a 450 ft long hanging bridge over the river Ganga that connects two villages Jonk in Pauri Garhwal district, on the east bank of the river Ganga and Tapovan in Tehri Garhwal district, on the west bank of the river.

Ram Jhula is another 450 ft. long hanging bridge that connects Swarg Ashram on the western bank of River Ganga to the Sivananda Ashram on the eastern bank.

Geeta Bhawan is a riverfront Ashram filled with extreme serenity. There is a temple, guest house for the devotees and an ancient Banyan tree in the Ashram.

Swarg Ashram is a place free from traffic, alcohol and non-vegetarian food located at the eastern bank of the river Ganga. Every bit of the place is filled with serenity where people come in the search of peace and spirituality. You can reach the place through the Ram Jhola or can take a cable car ride.

Day 9: Transfer to Delhi and departure-

This is the last day of the tour. After breakfast, we will drive you back to Delhi. On arrival, get transferred to the airport or the railway station for your onward journey.
