Pahalgam is a hill station in the north Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. Mountain trails run northeast to Amarnath Cave Temple, a Hindu shrine and site of the annual Amarnath Yatra pilgrimage. Overa Aru Wildlife Sanctuary is home to animals including brown bears and musk deer. Northeast, the Lidder River runs through scenic Betaab Valley. Southeast, Tulian Lake is flanked by mountain peaks and often frozen.
Katra or Vaishno Devi, as it is popularly known, is a city near Reasi in Reasi district within the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, India, situated in the foothills of the Trikuta Mountains, where the holy shrine of Vaishno Devi is located.
Jammu is the winter capital of the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. It is the headquarters and the largest city in Jammu district of the union territory.

DAY 02:- SRINAGAR – SONAMARG – SRINAGAR
After breakfast leave with full day expedition for Sonamarg. Situated at an altitude of 9000 Ft. Sonamarg – 84 Kms is also called as “The meadow of gold” has, as its backdrop, snowy mountains against a cerulean sky. The Sindh River that meanders through the valley abounds with trout andmahaseer. Ponies can be hired for the trip up to Thajiwas glacier, which is a major local allurement during the summer. Return for Dinner & overnight stay HB / Hotel.
DAY 03:- SRINAGAR – GULMARG – SRINAGAR
Full Day return expedition to Gulmarg, called as “Meadow of Flowers” Gulmarg is 53 Kms from Srinagar at an altitude of 8700-ft. Gulmarg also referred as Meadow of flowers. Flower is a famous Ski Resort & the world’s highest 18 hole Golf Course. The place was prominent during the British time. Enjoy the scenic view of Kongdori on a Cable Car Ride – OPTIONAL (Gondola) Back to Srinagar for a Dinner & stay overnight at the Hotel.
DAY 04:- SRINAGAR – PAHALGAM
Transfers from Srinagar to Pahalgam called as “Valley of Shepherds. On arrival check in Hotel. In Pahalgam, Enjoy the nature beauty & walk around the banks of River Lidder. Pahalgam is famous for some trekking place also & is the base camp for Amarnath Pilgrimage. Overnight stay at the Hotel
DAY 05:- PAHALGAM SIGHTSEEING
Transfers from Pahalgam to Srinagar. On the way visiting the Awantipura Ruins of 9th Century & Mattan Temple Complex. In Afternoon, visit Mogul Gardens “Nishat” (The Garden of Pleasure) and “Shalimar” (Abode of All). Drive along the Lake side on Boulevard on return visit a local Handicrafts Emporium for hand-knotted specialty silken carpets, shawls, jewellery ornaments. Also visit Shankaracharya Temple. Stay overnight at the Hotel.
DAY 06:- DEPARTURE PAHALGAM – KATRA (210KM/ 5-6 HR)
Morning after breakfast check-out from the hotel & drive to Katra. On arrival drop.
