They city Mussoorie is a derivative of the word 'Mansoor', a type of shrub. Also called Mansoori by many Indians, the city is counted among the well known hill stations in the state of Uttarakhand as well as India. It is also very famous by the name of "Queen of Hills". Mostly the town is visited by married couples who come here for honeymoon, so it is also popular as a honeymoon destination in India. This beautiful city was discovered by a British military officer while on an expedition in the region. Its foundation was laid by setting up a shooting lodge. Afterwards, the town developed as a preferred destination for education, business, tourism and beauty. The discoverer of Mussoorie also made the place as his residence after being enamored of the natural beauty in the year 1820. The Queen of Hills is situated in the foot hill of the Himalaya, at 2000 meters from the sea level. The serenity, wonderful hills, flora and fauna, attractive Doon Valley and Shivalik ranges are some of the major crowd-pullers in Mussoorie, attracting visitors in hundreds and thousands every year.

ITINERARY:-
Day 1 : Dehradun - Mussoorie
Pickup from Dehradun Airport or Dehradun Railway Station. Arrival in Mussoorie, Check into the hotel. The evening is at leisure. Indulge in the activities of your interest.
Day 2 : Mussoorie Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, embark on sightseeing both in and around Mussoorie. The place is a perfect region for long walks and hiking. You can simply walk on Camel’s back road. Visit the known destinations of Mussoorie i.e. Kempty Fall (Situated on the hill tracks about 15 km from Mussoorie), Gun Hill, Lal Tibba (the second highest point here offering mesmerizing views), Mussoorie Lake, Buddha Temple, etc that are worth visiting.In the evening, enjoy the facilities at the hotel Candle light dinner decorated bed overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 3 : Mussooire Local Visit
After breakfast, the day is at leisure you have the whole day to relax and decide on things you want to do. Mall Road, Mussoorie is the place where you can see all the action. If you want, you can also partake in adventure activities such as Zip swing, Rappelling, Rock climbing and so on. You can also enjoy the ropeway ride to the Snow View Point. In the evening you return back to the hotel.
Day 4 : Departure
Check out of your hotel in the morning after breakfast. Drop at Dehradun Railway Station or Dehradun Airport.
